
We cordially invite you to the research seminar “Quantitative Methods and Learning”, organized by the School of Economics and Political Science (Lyudmila Grigoryeva and Tobias Sutter), together with the School of Finance (Can Gao) and the School of Computer Science (Lukas Gonon).
The seminar provides a platform for presenting and discussing cuttingedge research in statistics, econometrics, statistical learning, and machine learning. Its aim is to foster academic exchange and excellence by creating a stimulating environment in which scholars, practitioners, and students can engage with and contribute to advances in quantitative methods.
The scope of the seminar spans a broad range of topics related to quantitative analysis and statistical learning techniques, focusing on methodological developments in advanced statistical modeling, econometric theory, machine learning, and their applications across economics, finance, and AI-related domains.
The seminar will take place on Tuesdays at 4:15 p.m. (please consult the schedule for specific dates).
