Die 5 wichtigsten Gründe für den Master in General Management an der HSG

Curriculum

Our Master’s programme focuses on addressing current and future challenges in sustainable corporate management. The conceptual approach is built on three interconnected levels:

Level 1: Building the Foundation
To establish a unified understanding of core disciplines in corporate management, students complete eight courses covering topics such as strategy, entrepreneurship, finance and management accounting, leadership, and artificial intelligence in business.

Level 2: Broadening Perspectives
Building on this solid foundation, students can apply and deepen their skills by taking «Advanced General Management Courses», electives from the programme itself or other Master’s programmes at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), and contextual studies courses that explore subjects outside of the economic sciences.

Level 3: Delivering Results
The final level focuses on the practical application of acquired knowledge. Students tackle a real-world business challenge through a «Managerial Impact Project», address at least one «Grand Challenge of Business & Society», and complete a Master’s thesis. The programme has a standard duration of three semesters and requires the completion of 90 credits.
