Meet the CFO #24 with Dennis Lück | BrinkertLück Creatives

On 26 September 2021, Olaf Scholz was elected German Chancellor. Just a few months earlier, his victory seemed about as likely as a Swiss title win at the next World Cup. But two men always believed in victory and were instrumental in achieving it: Raphael Brinkert and Dennis Lück, who were responsible for Olaf Scholz's election campaign with their German-Swiss advertising agency BrinkertLück Creatives, which was only founded in 2020. In the current episode of "Meet the CFO" we have Dennis Lück as our guest. Dennis is already visually very far removed from a CFO - at least if you believe classic role models. He describes himself as a "copywriter", others call him the most creative advertiser in Switzerland. And as such, he has a great influence on many KPIs that are also essential for CFOs in corporate management. For many years he was creative director and co-owner of Jung von Matt/Limmat, before he founded the advertising and, as he himself emphasises, value agency BrinkertLück Creatives with his German partner. Dennis Lück's creative campaigns have won him countless awards, and BrinkertLück Creatives succeeded in being named Agency of the Year in the very first year after its founding. But how does one become creative in the first place? Can creativity be learned or is a lot simply talent? We learn a lot about Dennis' creative strategies and how he tries to quantify the success of an advertising campaign even before it appears.
