Changes to access to LSEG SDC data

At the end of 2025, there will be changes to access to LSEG SDC data. Until now, we have provided two SDC data sets via the WRDS platform: Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity. This access will be deactivated at the end of the year.

Now, you can access to SDC datasets via LSEG Workspace. This change will enable access both via our Virtual Workspace solution and through the use of personal Workspace accounts for students or researchers.

With this change, we can provide access to the following SDC datasets:

• Mergers & Acquisitions
• Private Equity
• Global New Issues
• Municipial Bonds
• Corporate Governance
• Infrastructure

With this change, SDC data is now available in the familiar Workspace environment. The previous restrictions on exporting SDC data when using Workspace no longer apply.
