New decisions regarding the Covid-19 situation

The Federal Council has made new decisions concerning the Corona situation. These decisions also include the relaxation of measures which concern universities, which the President’s Board of the University of St.Gallen was pleased to take note of.

15 April 2021. The Federal Council has made new decisions concerning the Corona situation. These decisions also include the relaxation of measures which concern universities, which the President’s Board of the University of St.Gallen was pleased to take note of. The implementation of these opening steps has been taken in hand immediately, so that study and teaching operations can take place as soon as possible along the new guidelines.

Teaching and learning places

The University of St.Gallen is excited to offer both face-to-face teaching and learning places starting as on Monday, 26 April 2021. The official guidelines state that a room may be occupied to a maximum of one third of its capacity and with a maximum of 50 people. The general protective measures - in particular the obligation to wear masks and minimum distances - must still be observed at all times. All courses can also be attended digitally until the end of the semester. By Friday, 23 April 2021, at the latest, information will be provided on exactly how teaching will take place from 26 April 2021.

Sports

As early as Monday, 19 April 2021, University Sports will again offer a broader program. Information on sports offerings will be posted on www.sport.unisg.ch in a timely manner.

Executive Campus

Operations at the Weiterbildungszentrum Holzweid (Executive Campus) will also resume on Monday, 19 April 2021, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
