| Content | What distinguishes English as an academic language (e.g. from German or French)? This workshop explores the typical characteristics of clear and coherent writing (effective paragraphs ans sentences; active versus passive voice; first, second and third pronouns etc.). It also introduces some basic principles to help participants write academic English, with and without using AI, which sounds English and is acceptable to first-language readers. |
