Dr. David Ehlig has been a member of Prof. Geissler's team since January 2022 and heads the “Value in Healthcare” research group. He is responsible for the development, implementation and management of research projects. After completing his Bachelor's degree in Economics at Maastricht University and his Master's degree in Finance and International Management at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Dr. David Kuklinski worked for more than five years in strategy consulting at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He also completed his doctorate under Prof. Geissler and Prof. Busse at the Technical University of Berlin on the topics of quality and digitalization in hospitals. Today, he focuses on various research areas within health economics and health services research, such as investigating the impact of changes in the healthcare system (financing, planning, quality transparency initiatives) and new technologies on the quality of care.
