Joachim Stonig is Managing Director of the Master Programme in Strategy and International Management (SIM) and Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management. His research examines how established organizations remain competitive, with a particular focus on ecosystem strategies, nonprofit organizations, and strategic decision-making processes. His work has been published in leading journals such as the Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science. Joachim has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education level. Before joining academia, he worked in strategy consulting, specializing in corporate growth strategies and active portfolio management.
