Disclosure of third-party funding

Throughout the University of St.Gallen's more than 100-year history, third-party funding has been crucial in initiating and implementing forward-looking projects at the HSG. Funding grants play an important role in complementing public core funding. No other Swiss university has a higher degree of self-financing.

The University of St.Gallen discloses its acquired third-party funding to the public in the HSG project database, which is updated annually. Third-party funding of annually over CHF 50,000 per funding provider is listed in accordance with the guidelines on information and disclosure.

Not included in the list:

  • Competitive research funding (in particular SNF, Innosuisse, EU)
  • Revenue from executive education
  • Third-party funded projects subject to statutory confidentiality obligations
