New Assistant Professor of IT Management

We warmly welcome as our newly appointed Assistant Professor (with tenure track) of IT Management as of 1 February 2024: Prof. Dr. Ingrid Bauer-Hänsel

Prof. Dr. Ingrid Bauer-Hänsel completed her Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering & Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and her Master's degree in Business Administration & Information Systems at the Copenhagen Business School. She graduated in 2022 with a PhD in Information Systems at the University of Zurich on the topic of “Value creation and capturing from a decentralised car ledger”. Before joining us, she worked as Product Manager for Digital Business Models in in the informatics department and as a Technology Manager for Innovations in the Energy and Mobility department of the AMAG Group.

In her research, Ingrid Bauer-Hänsel focuses on the exploration and design of inter-organisational information systems based on distributed ledger technologies / blockchain-based structures.

Ingrid Bauer-Hänsel has teaching experience that she gained during her doctorate at UZH. This includes the Bachelor’s course “Business Informatics 1” and the Master’s course “Information Management” as well as the associated tutorials.

Ingrid Bauer-Hänsel will be affiliated with the Institute of Information Systems IWI-HSG.
