Graduate Business Conference 2016: Responsible Leadership

From 6 to 8 April 2016, the University of St.Gallen (HSG) will play host to the Graduate Business Conference. About 50 student representatives from the world’s 50 leading MBA business schools will debate the issue of responsible leadership. The English-language conference is entitled “Giving Back: The Responsibility of Future Leaders”.

1 April 2016. The Graduate Business Conference will run two public panel discussions in the Audimax (Room 09‐010): "Ethics, Politics and Business" will be the topic of the panel discussion on 6 April at 4 p.m. The panel discussion on 7 April at 3.30 p.m. will be about "Social Entrepreneurship".

Ethical behaviour in politics and the economy will be discussed by Massimo Muzzi (VP Business Development, ABB Robotics), Florian Inhauser (moderator, SRF) and a faculty member in the first public panel discussion, "Ethics, Politics and Business".

Ways in which enterprises can do business in a sustainable manner and assume responsibility towards society will be elucidated by the second public panel discussion on "Social Entrepreneurship". A business model that is at once profitable and beneficial to society will be debated by the following guest speakers:

  • Stephan Chambers (Director of International Strategy, Said Business School, Oxford)
  • Paul Bethke (Co-Founder and CEO of LemonAid Beverages)
  • Sonja Rossteuscher (Managing Partner at Triple S Advisory and Consulting)
  • Dr. Julia Balandina-Jaquier (Founder and Managing Director of JBJ Consult - Impact Investment Solutions)

The event is organised by members of the Student Union of the University of St.Gallen (SHSG).
