New Faculty members

We are delighted to welcome at the Law School two new faculty members as of Spring Semester 2019:
Prof. Patricia Egli and Prof. Stefan G. Schmid, both full professors of public law with a specialization in constitutional law.

Bernhard Ehrenzeller to become future President of HSG

The government of the Canton of St.Gallen has approved the election of Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ehrenzeller by the Senate and the University Council as future President of the University of St.Gallen. Bernhard Ehrenzeller is Professor of Public Law at the University of St.Gallen and Director of the Institute for Legal Studies and Legal Practice. He will succeed the current President, Prof. Dr. Thomas Bieger, on 1 February 2020.


Adjunct Professor Dr. Bruno mascello

Dr. Bruno Mascello, attorney at law, LL.M., EMBA HSG, was appointed adjunct professor for Business Law and Legal Management by the Senate of the University of St.Gallen.


Prof. em. Dr. Dr. Martin Killias

Martin Killias (FR-HSG) has been awarded the 2018 Freda Adler Distinguished Scholar Award given by the Division of International Criminology (DIC) of the  American Society of Criminology (ASC). This is the ASC's most prestigious award.
