Discussion on FC St.Gallen with Barnetta and Hernandez

Where is FC St.Gallen heading? What inspired midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta to return to his home team? This is just one of the questions that will be tabled at the public discussion with FC St.Gallen's President Stefan Hernandez and Tranquillo Barnetta on Thursday, 19 October, from 6.45 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., in the main auditorium of the University of St.Gallen.

10 October 2017. At the invitation of Unisports St.Gallen, two of the most famous faces of FC St.Gallen will be joining a public discussion at the HSG: Midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta and President Stefan Hernandez. The event will take place on Thursday, 19 October 2017, from 6.45 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., in the main auditorium (room 09-010) of the University of St.Gallen. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Loyal fan base

FC St.Gallen is the oldest football club in Switzerland and has some of the most loyal supporters in the country. One of the best known names from its sporting history is Tranquillo Barnetta, who grew up in Rotmonten, not far from the HSG. Host Beat Antenen will interview him on his sporting career, which has taken him to Germany and the USA.

Meanwhile, President Stefan Hernandez will talk especially about his ideas and goals for FC St.Gallen. Christian Brägger, a football expert on the sports desk of the St.Galler Tagblatt, will round off the discussion panel and contribute the journalistic view.
