47th St. Gallen Symposium: Open lectures and livestream

The St. Gallen Symposium invites visitors to public, English-language lectures at HSG’s library on 4 and 5 May 2017. The plenary sessions will also be webcast via livestream.

2 May 2017. Questions around the topic "The dilemma of disruption" will be discussed. The following contributors (in addition to many more personalities) will examine different facets of the topic:

  • Santiago Calatrava, Architect and Artist
  • Ong Ye Kung, Singapore’s Minister for Education
  • Susanne Ruoff, Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Post
  • Anders Samuelsen, Denmark’s Foreign Minister
  • Deb Roy, MIT Professor and Chief Media Scientist, Twitter

The plenary sessions will be broadcast online at www.symposium.org. Two public background sessions will take place at the university’s library:
