Oliver Kahn at the HSG

On Tuesday, 29 October 2013, from 4.15 to 8.00 p.m., the general public will be invited to the Sports Economics Day about youth sports. The panel guest will be Oliver Kahn, former World Goalkeeper of the Year.

17 October 2013. On Tuesday, 29 October 2013, from 4.15 to 8.00 p.m., the general public will be invited to the Sports Economics Day. The panel guest will be Oliver Kahn, World Goalkeeper of the Year.

17 October 2013. On the occasion of the first Sports Economics Day at the HSG, economists and practitioners will discuss the integrative effects of youth sports. The Sports Economics Day is a public event; admission will be free of charge. Media representatives are welcome; they are requested to register in advance.

From 4.15 to 5.45 p.m., HSG Professor Christina Felfe and Professor Uwe Pühse from the University of Basel will present their research results in the field of “Sports and the development of cognitive and non-cognitive skills in children”.

From 6.15 to 7.30 p.m. Matthias Remund, Director of the Federal Office of Sports, and Oliver Kahn will talk about their experiences in practical sports. HSG Unisport Head Leonz Eder will be interviewing the three times World Goalkeeper of the Year. Oliver Kahn will use his coaching programme as one of the examples with which he will explain how sports can have a positive effect on personality development.
