1 February 2010. The coaching programme of the University of St. Gallen (HSG) provides impulses and support for personal development during degree courses. On 11 and 12 February, the programme under the aegis of Prof. Thomas Eberle will again offer a platform for an exchange between international experts about the topic of “Coaching at university and at work”.

Gilbert Gress as speaker
During the conference, leading experts will debate suitable diagnostic procedures, various forms of intervention and valid methods of evaluation in the context of coaching. The speakers will include the conductor of the University Orchestra and sports coach, Gilbert Gress.

The coaching programme, which was introduced in 2001 along with the HSG mentoring programme, has developed into a pearl among the HSG’s courses in just under ten years. Practical partners from various professional areas enrich the program with their personal experiences as coaches.

Unique programme
The individual support of students by coaches at the Assessment Level is unique among European universities. It is supplemented by an extensive range of seminars and workshops, which provides students with additional support.
