Patrick Stach on the University’s Board of Governors The Cantonal Parliament has appointed the St.Gallen lawyer Dr. Patrick Stach as the new member of the University’s Board of Governors. He succeeds Hans Richle, who has resigned. 12 June 2014. In the course of its June session, the St.Gallen Cantonal Parliament appointed a new member of the University’s Board of Governors. The St.Gallen attorney at law and notary public Patrick Stach replaces Hans Richle, who resigned as per the end of May 2014. Stach obtained both his Licentiate’s and Doctor’s degrees from the University of St.Gallen and heads a law firm with six lawyers. During the current term of office from 2012-2016, the University’s Board of Governors is chaired by Education Minister Stefan Kölliker, with Dr. Peter Schorer as the Vice-Chairman. The other current members of the Board, Dr. Silvia Bietenharder-Kuenzle, Hildegard Fässler, Sally Gschwend-Fisher, Karl Güntzel, Dr. Martin Huser, Ruth Metzler-Arnold, René Romanin and Thomas Scheitlin, will continue in office.
