Gassmann among top 50 worldwide Prof. Dr. Oliver Gassmann, Director of the Institute for Technology Management of the University of St.Gallen (ITEM-HSG), was elected to take his place among the world’s 50 top researchers. 16 February 2009. The HSG Professor of Innovation Management has received this award for the sum of his publications over the last five years by the International Association for the Management of Technology (IAMOT). One of the most active researchersOliver Gassmann is thus one of the world’s most active researchers in the field of Innovation Management. He will receive the award officially in the USA in early April 2009. Awarding for the second timeOliver Gassmann is the Chairman of the HSG Research Committee and the main teacher in several Executive MBA programs. IAMOT is awarding this accolade for the second time in a row. Whereas this year’s IAMOT Award is based on the ten strongest journals of the Social Science Citation Index, a larger number of journals is intended to be taken into consideration as from 2014.
