20 October 2011. The demarcation line between the worlds of people with and without disabilities is fluid. HSG lecturer Dr. Nils Jent is familiar with both sides. He has been physically disabled and speech-impaired as a consequence of an accident since he was 19. Today, he and his working partner, Regula Dietsche, head the IFPM-HSG Diversity Center and are in charge of applied research at the Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG).

Public film and book presentation at the HSG

The story of Nils Jent’s life has appeared as a book and a film. On Wednesday, 26 October 2011, at 6.15 p.m., both works will be presented at the HSG. The screening will take place in the context of Dr. Nils Jent’s public lectures in the Main Building (Rooms 01-012 and 01-013). The event is public; admission is free. Prof. Dr. Martin Hilb, who was Dr. Nils Jent’s thesis supervisor and is now his boss, will provide an introduction to this public event. After the presentation of the film (duration: 90 minutes), there will be time for a discussion and questions. After the discussion, Nils Jent and the author Röbi Koller will be talking about the genesis of the biography Dr. Nils Jent. Ein Leben am Limit, which has been published by Wörterseh-Verlag. Röbi Koller and Nils Jent will sign books at the end of the event.
