Teaching and learning conditions applauded
The University of St.Gallen already occupied top positions in all three disciplines assessed in the CHE Ranking of 2008. The 2011/2012 Ranking confirms these high standards. The assessment of the teaching and learning conditions by the students interviewed resulted in the HSG being placed in the top group once more. Special mention is again accorded to the assessment of the courses on offer at the HSG in terms of professional relevance, support of students during their stay in a foreign country, broad content base and interdisciplinary orientation of the courses.

Roomsituation in need of improvement

Students’ critical comments concern the room situation and the teacher/student ratio – two indicators that have slightly worsened in comparison with the 2008 Ranking and are closely connected with the rapid growth in student numbers at the University of St.Gallen. The rating according to which students continue to consider cooperation and contacts with fellow students to be very good is therefore all the more gratifying.
