Contradictions of the naturalistic epistemology
In the question of what knowledge actually is and which methods lead to assured knowledge, many scientists take a naturalistic position. This position sees the strictly empirical methods of natural sciences like physics as the only legitimate way to create knowledge. In his book, Dr. Reto Gubelmann has dealt with the naturalistic epistemology in the sense of Willard van Orman Quine and has worked out some contradictions of this philosophical tradition.
