English is on everyone's lips, but what distinguishes English as a scientific language (e.g. from German or French)?
This workshop explores this question through practical exercises (sentence structure, acitve versus passive voice, pronouns, punctuation, etc.).
It provides some basic principles to help participants write academic English that sounds English and is acceptable to first-language readers.
