We're thrilled to announce the release of "The Oxford Handbook of Swiss Politics," co-authored by HSG Professor Patrick Emmenegger.
"The Oxford Handbook of Swiss Politics" offers a comprehensive analysis of Switzerland's political system and modern developments. With contributions from over 50 experts, it covers various themes and levels of Swiss politics. The volume provides a nuanced understanding of Swiss politics, challenging idealized perceptions. Divided into thematic sections, it explores foundations, institutions, actors, decision-making processes, and public policies. This handbook presents new insights relevant to various fields beyond political science.
Patrick Emmenegger is Professor of Comparative Political Economy and Public Policy at the University of St. Gallen. His research focuses on the political economy of welfare and skills, labour market regulation, industrial relations, democratization, state building, the politics of taxation, and institutional theory.
