The Chair for German Language and Literature at the University of St.Gallen represents a field of cultural sciences-oriented literary studies with a focus on interdisciplinary knowledge transfer.
In research and teaching we work on problems in the area of economics and management sciences, law and sociology from the perspective of the humanities and social sciences core competences in order to activate literary texts` potential for critical reflection for students to use on their principal subjects.
