Stefan Weik has been Assistant Professor of Private Markets at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) since 1 August 2024.
Stefan Weik has been Assistant Professor of Private Markets at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) since 1 August 2024.
Prof. Weik finished his Master of Science in Business and Engineering in 2016. After working in the consulting industry for two years, Prof. Weik started his PhD in economics at the Technical University of Munich in 2018 and graduated in 2023.
Prof. Weik's research focuses on private capital markets such as Venture Capital and Private Equity. His research has been featured in Handelsblatt and WirtschaftsWoche, and has been cited by the European Commission and the German Government.
