Ideal Conditions for Studying Since 2008, the Werner Siemens Foundation is committed to the basic success factors of the program through the provision and renovation of the Law and Economics House. Law and Economics House The Werner Siemens Foundation generously acquired a house in close proximity to the University. It financed additional construction for a special library that is available for students and all members of the University. Since 2008, the newly renovated building is open for permanent use by the Law and Economics courses. It thus serves as a centre that can be used extensively by the study program, its students, assistants, and other staff. By according an own face to the interdisciplinary teaching and research areas in law and economics at the HSG, it facilitates encounters and serves as a symbolic, physical framework for numerous activities. Ideal Framework Conditions “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Werner Siemens Foundation for this great support. It has created the ideal framework conditions in terms of infrastructure for the BLE/MLE study program. These contribute to a motivational environment for staff and students, inspiring those responsible to continue to arduously promote teaching and research in the areas of law and economics, and to put them into fruitful practice.” Prof. Dr. Robert Waldburger, Program Director, BLE/MLE Study Program.
