Open Innovation Innovation in the HSG-Library thanks to students and staff 03/02/2016 Since the autumn semester 2015, students have had the possibility to post their suggestions and ideas for the HSG-Library on a virtual Speaking Wall. Afterwards we discuss these ideas and give feedback within a short time. Thanks to the Speaking Wall and various ideas from our staff, we received a total of 58 suggestions in 2015. Here are some examples of suggestions that we have implemented: In 2015, we especially improved the learning situation in the library: we lifted the no- bags rule, Seatfinder gives you an overview of our learning and working spaces and QR-codes in the textbook collection point you to the electronic versions of the textbooks. We were also able to implement some ‘smaller’ ideas: there are now pegs at the tables for your bags, blankets for the cold months, pillows for the seats, a new and better book scanner, a PocketScan for scanning at your working place, etc. … We would like to say thank you to all who shared their ideas on the Speaking Wall. With your contribution, you ensure that the HSG-Library will stay innovative and attractive. Also a big thank you to the other resorts who provided important contributions for the implementations of different innovations, especially IT Services and Infrastructure. We are looking forward to lots of new ideas from our students and staff in 2016!
