Our major in Law and Economics (BLE) aims to provide a systematic, integrative education that includes legal, economic, and IT knowledge. The goal is to offer a solid foundation in legal education, enriched with economic and digital expertise, which opens up a wide range of career opportunities.
Concept of the Major
To ensure adequate foundational knowledge in legal studies, the core legal subjects in the areas of private law, public law, and criminal law are covered in the major in Law and Economics. Within the extensive range of courses offered in business administration, economics, and computer science, our students can set their own individual areas of focus. The core of the Bachelor's education in Law and Economics is our integrative coursework, which addresses topics at the intersection of law and economics in an interdisciplinary manner.
Additional Qualification: "Law for Law & Economics" Programme
With the voluntary additional qualification programme "Law for Law & Economics," which can be completed alongside the Bachelor's degree or during the Master's, access to legal training (solicitor qualification) is guaranteed.
