Learning Objectives Master in Quantitative Economics and Finance You develop a deep understanding of economics and finance theories. Alternatively, MiQE/F students may apply for the CEMS one-year masters in International Management – a prestigious joint degree programme offered by the Community of European Management Schools. Individual study profile The MiQE/F offers you a flexible programme to develop your own study profile and skills set. You can select from a wide range of core electives and electives. MiQE/F also offers a specialisation in “Digitalisation and Data Analytics”. In-depth method training and digitalisation Analysing data has become a key component of developed economies. Data analysis helps economic players e.g. when optimizing work processes, developing pricing schemes and in price discrimination. Similarly, data analysis is crucial to evaluate the performance of economies and economic policies. Digitisation has led to a multitude of newly available data and data formats for which new methods of data analysis have been developed. In the working environment, it is therefore advantageous to be able to deal with a variety of data formats and to analyse data with the best possible methods. To meet these requirements, the MiQE/F offers various courses in this field.
