Crediting The mutual recognition of course work makes it possible to complete a Master's degree at both institutions in just two years. To be awarded the M.A. HSG, a total of 90 credits have to be completed. DDP students only complete 60 credits in St.Gallen. However, four courses at the Yonsei Graduate School can be credited to the M.A. HSG, corresponding to another 30 credits. Students can select four courses from the mandatory courses and core electives at the Yonsei GSIS. The grades from Seoul are converted for credit in St.Gallen as follows: Grading scale Yonsei GSIS St.Gallen A+ 6 A 6 A- 5.5 B+ 5 B 5 B- 4.5 C+ 4 C 4 C- fail F fail Calculation of the grade average The grade average of the M.A. HSG results from the weighting of the completed 90 credits. For Ph.D. studies at the University of St.Gallen, a grade average of 5.0 is required. Calculation of negative weighted credit points The calculation of the negative weighted credit points takes into account the courses completed in Seoul which are credited to the M.A. HSG (equivalent to 30 credits). Across the total of 90 credits, 13.5 negative weighted credit points may be accumulated.
