What next? A Bachelor’s degree in Economics will open many doors for you. You can continue your studies at the Master’s Level, interrupt them for a while or venture directly into practical working life. Continued studies at Master’s Level After successfully completing your Bachelor in Economics, you have the opportunity to couninuing your studies at Master's at the University of St. Gallen with two different Master's programmes. With a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, you can enroll in the Master in Economics (MEcon) at the University of St. Gallen without further admission restrictions. The MEcon focuses on theoretical and empirical analysis of economic correlations and conveys knowledge application-oriented analysis methods in economic policy, society and management. Small course groups offer you direct access to the lecturers and guarantee high student satisfaction. The other programm for which you provide ideal prerequisits is the Master in Quantitative Economics and Finance (MiQE / F). As this is a selective Master's programme, all candidates are subject to a selection process. You find the admission criterai for the MiQE / F here. MiQE / F offers sound education in economics with a strong focus on quantitative methods. This enables our students to master the complexity of the global economy in a unique way. Registration deadline for the MiQE / F is April 30th. Career start A second possibility is to take a break from your studies between the Bachelor’s and Master’s Levels and to acquire your first working experience, for example in the form of internships. Needless to say, you are also free to start your career for good after you have obtained your Bachelor’s degree.
