The St.Gallen independent study approach pays special attention to the support of the independent learning. Within special independent study groups, support for foreign language students is offered outside the regular curriculum (for those, who have not obtained a secondary school or Matura qualification in the German language). At a reduced pace, besides the course content, tutors address language difficulties that may exist.
The students within the self-study groups get the opportunity to introduce and discuss questions regarding comprehension. The learning context of the independent study will be underlined with suitable course materials and is designed in a way that foreign language students will achieve the challenging learning objectives of the course “Law I”.
These groups are integrated into the bidding system.
