The topic of the energy turnaround, until a few years ago hardly anyone was aware of it, is now one of the highest priorities of politics in Switzerland and abroad. There is a broad consensus in the scientific community: the energy turnaround must succeed, our future depends on it. But can the energy turnaround be implemented only with renewable energy sources such as wind and sun, or do we also need alternatives such as nuclear power? And what risks and opportunities does nuclear power offer? What role does technological progress play in this? What challenges do legislators face and what responsibility must citizens themselves assume? Six experts from business and science talk about their views and visions on the energy transition.
