Economic processes are still predominantly linear. This means that resources are extracted, processed, consumed and ultimately end up in landfill. The circular economy aims to close resource cycles in an ecologically sustainable and socially acceptable way with the aim of respecting planetary boundaries.

How can companies overcome the challenges of implementing a circular economy? Researchers from the Circular Economy Competence Centre at the University of St.Gallen, the Institute of Computer Science and various practice partners will discuss these questions with representatives from the field at the "Circular Lab Conference" at SQUARE.

Interested members of the public are also cordially invited to attend the conference. An overview of the conference can be found in the attached programme flyer.
