Recruiting There are several opportunities for HSG students to become a part of the Research & Innovation Hub team. Since April 2006, more than 30 researchers have achieved their PhD at the Hub, and we delivered more than 300 scientific publications. Our collaboration contract with the University allows us to hire PhD students jointly with an institute, such as the ITEM, IWI, IFPM, or IfM. As employees of SAP these researchers take practical relevance to their work and as researchers for the University, they take with them the academic rigor that is well known from their institutes. As of 2015, we have around 15 PhD candidates in the program who receive mentoring or support from Prof. Dr. Elgar Fleisch, Prof. Dr. Oliver Gassmann, Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke, Prof. Dr. Robert Winter, Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch, Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister, and Prof. Dr. Peter Leibfried. Additionally to the PhDs, we employ on average 10 students in different positions. They work as interns, working students, and bachelor or master thesis students and contribute the research projects. Due to the different projects and research topics, the students get a good overview of the work as a PhD candidate, as well as a project lead within a major corporation. If it is a god fit, students may become PhD candidates as well. We always look for new talent, so if you are interest in joining us at SAP, have look at the career portal were all positions published.
