Become an evaluator The EU Commission offers academics and experts the chance to register as evaluators to assess project proposals. The EU Commission uses a database to find suitable evaluators for project proposals and to seek experts who can support the Commission on specific issues or measures. Responsibilities The evaluators are sent the EU project proposals for assessment and have about a week to submit their evaluation. At a subsequent meeting with the other evaluators for the same project proposals in Brussels, the evaluators agree on a joint assessment of the proposal. Personal registration You can register personally to be an evaluator of EU project applications by entering a brief research profile and your contact information on the Commission’s database.
