Flow Writing Days

Flow Writing Day I:
From a blank page to a rough draft

Publishing is central to an academic career and wee need to learn how to produce good output quickly: that is, through collaborative writing in a highly activating working atmosphere, through guided writing sessions.
A Flow Writing Day is a guided writing process, that lasts 8 highly structured and effective hours. You will write a text in a single day. For example:

• a chapter of your dissertation,
• a journal article,
• a research proposal,
• a lecture,
• or a grant application...

Everyone begins with a blank sheet of paper and writes all the way to a well-rounded first draft. In the course of this day you learn effective writing strategies while pushing your individual text project forward. You will be amazed what you can achieve in one day. The program is tough, effective, but very doable and a lot of fun.
We start from scratch, so this day is an ideal kick-off for a new text project, maybe something you have put off for a while.
Experience concentration, experience flow. Output is guaranteed!

Flow Writing Day II:
From the draft to the next version

Writing often tends to get sidelined in the busy, fast-paced everyday lives of academics. Flow Writing Day is an opportunity to practice focused writing and help your current text project move forward. The facilitated work process allows you to dive deep into your writing, experience the flow, and work towards progress.
A productive blend of movement, coaching elements, activating breaks, concentration techniques and of course, ample time for writing, will help create your natural flow and set the mind and body in motion.
This seminar is open to academics with a text project they want to push forward. Your text can be in any stage (first drafts, first versions, final versions...). You are also invited to write in any language. Join and give yourself a gratifying push of productivity.
