Access and navigation
The websites of the University of St.Gallen and its institutes basically can be accessed anonymously. The same applies to navigation inside these websites.

Automatic data collection
As a rule, no cookies are used. The surfing activities of visitors to our websites are not evaluated in a way that would allow for the unequivocal identification of any surfers. No data obtained from any third parties are used to evaluate any surfing activities.

Voluntary data collection
Our websites contain various forms that have to be filled in by visitors in their own interest if they wish to avail themselves of the services in question. These are mainly enrollments and orders which largely require the communication of postal and e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and any other relevant details.

Purpose of the collected data
The data is used solely for the declared purpose and is not passed on to any third parties.

Confidentiality / security
Any data you enter in a form are transmitted without encryption. It can therefore not be ruled out that data may be lost or accessed by third parties during transmission. For this reason, you transmit any personal data at your own risk.

Any data transmitted by you will be stored on our servers with all due care and attention and protected from access by any third parties. Access to your data will only be granted to those employees who require it to fulfill their tasks. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties.
