CEMS is a strategic alliance made up of the leading international business schools and multinational companies. Its mission is to set a global standard of excellence for pre-experience Master’s in management. Founded in 1988 in Europe, the network has grown steadily, largely due to the success and popularity of the CEMS Master’s in International Management: the MIM programme. Today, CEMS belongs to the global league players in the international Master’s market and is unparalleled in terms of the reputation: 29 world-class academic institutions work with more than 70 corporate partners, including 4 social partners, to offer international postgraduate students a unique blend of outstanding education and professional experience.

While the academic institutions provide the highest standards of teaching and research excellence, the CEMS corporate partners provide the practical and business-oriented skills and experience necessary to achieve the greatest level of success.

CEMS MIM - Master's in International Management

A permanent feature in the top 10 of the Financial Times ranking of all "Master of Science in Management" programmes worldwide. It creates multicultural and multilingual managers with the skills to thrive in tomorrow’s business environment. It is a natural choice of degree if you have an excellent academic track record and the potential to take on a senior international management role. The CEMS Master in International Management is a double degree that tops off the home degree of CEMS Partner Universities.

The CEMS MIM offers a select group of the best international students coming from CEMS member institutions the expertise needed to succeed in the international business environment. Designed by both academic and business leaders, the CEMS MIM programme builds a bridge between university education and practical management, thus offering profound insight into leadership best practices.

The CEMS MIM is open to all HSG Master’s students.

The various elements of the CEMS programme such as

  • the block seminar 
  • CEMS courses 
  • skill seminars 
  • the business project

must be completed within one academic year. One semester is spent abroad at one of the CEMS partner universities. In addition, evidence of linguistic proficiency in two foreign languages and an internship abroad for at least 10 weeks must be shown. The CEMS programme is offered in English.
