Freshers’ Week Team 2017 Our team of the Freshers’ Week consists of the Project Management Team and an annually changing team of students, called the Campus Credit Team. Freshers' Week Project Management Team Prof. Dr. Roman Capaul is the Academic Director of the Assessment Year. As associate professor, he teaches Business Administration with focus on Business Education at the University of St.Gallen and is a member of the Directorate at the Institute of Business Education and Educational Management. He is the author of various textbooks. Dipl.- Soz.- Wiss. Miriam Mrisi is Project Manager of the Freshers' Week and has been involved in the Freshers' Week since 2011. She studied Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg in Germany and has lived in Switzerland since April 2009. In her spare time, Miriam Mrisi spends time with her horse Charly. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg, as a nursing assistant in various nursing homes and as a personal assistant to a German presenter and author. Yvonne Klein, BSc, PG Cert, FHEA has been working as Project Assistant for the Freshers’ Week since 2012. Through her years of experience in working in higher education and primary school sector in England, she is responsible among other things for translations, as well as design and implementation of the Freshers’ Week in English. She completed her studies at the University of East London and the Open University and lived and worked for more than 12 years in East London and Essex. Since 2011, she lives with her family in St.Gallen. Dr. rer. soc. HSG Daniel Steingruber, dipl. Wipäd. joined the Freshers’ Week in August 2015 and is Manager for Methodology and Didactics. He studied International Affairs and Governance at the University of St.Gallen. In addition, he completed the supplementary course in Business Education. During his doctorate, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Business Education and Educational Management. In addition to his commitment in the Freshers’ Week, he works as a specialist teacher for economics and law at the cantonal school at Brühl in St.Gallen. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family and on the mountain bike. Corinne Sylla M.A. HSG, dipl. Wipäd. joined the Freshers’ Week Team as Project Assistant in 2014. She completed her Bachelor in Business Administration, as well as her Master’s degree in Marketing, Services and Communication Management at the University of St.Gallen. She obtained the additional degree of dipl. Wipäd. (Certified Teacher for Business Education) in a supplementary course and, while studying, worked as a student assistant at the Institute of Business Education and Educational Management. In her spare time, she takes care of her two children and supports and accompanies her husband who works as a professional musician. Next to her commitment to the Freshers' Week, she works as a teacher at the KV Zurich Business School in Zurich. She spends time with her family in her spare time and is also actively involved as the president of a cultural association. Studentisches Team der Startwoche 2017 Mattea Bieniok is responsible for the Freshers' Week Café and the supervision of the support crew. She is also organising catering and the prize for the winning team. She has been studying Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen since 2015 and in addition she studies in a supplementary course towards an additional degree in dipl. Wipäd. (Certified Teacher for Business Education). At the HSG, she is involved in the Club Salsita Rica for Latino American dances. In her spare time, she works in a hotel. Daniel Grutzeck is responsible for the support crew, for room allocation and timetabling, as well as the Infodesk and looking after guests. Since 2015, he has been studying Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen. During the Freshers’ Week 2016, Daniel participated as a support crew member. Besides his studies, he plays volleyball and engages in the Students' Union. Andreas Oberholzer is responsible for the organisation and sponsorship of the Closing Event. Since 2015, he has been studying Business Administration. He dedicates his spare time to pursue social and legal equality of LGBTQ people. In addition, he has a part-time job in a residential home caring for people suffering from dementia. Irina Peterhans is responsibe for tutors, members of the support crew and the documentation team. Since 2014, she has been studying Business at the University of St.Gallen. Last year, Irina Peterhans participated as a tutor in the Freshers' Week. Besides her studies, she loves to do sports and is a passionate trainer for fitness classes.
