Our University is known for the practical relevance of its primary education, research and executive education. The "institute" concept plays an important role. As integrated elements, the institutes are linked to the University yet enjoy a high degree of autonomy. Professors of the University of St.Gallen are so enabled to act in entrepreneurial ways and are close to industry needs.

The close collaboration with industry helps provinding Executive Education programs at its best as the research results fuel the structure and content of executive education programs. This ensures state of the art academic rigor combined with highly relevant knowledge directly linked to practical application.
