Financing your studies

Welcome to the Advice Center for Study Funding. Here you will find information on options for financing your studies.

Students working in the Audmax.

Despite the increasing number of students, the total number of cantonal scholarships in Switzerland has declined by 25%. The scholarships rarely cover monthly costs and, depending on income parents, typically only cover a portion of the study costs. For this reason, many students take up a part-time job. In addition to job income, students must often seek other financial means.

An investment in your personal development
A degree is also an investment in your personal development and in the future. The financial aspect therefore should not be the only factor when deciding to begin or continue studies. Higher education is also subsidised by the Swiss government, resulting in low tuition fees.

We are happy to provide you with comprehensive information about the options for financing your studies. These includes existing financing options as well as information about budgeting and ways to reduce your living costs.

We wish you all the best for your studies.
