Curriculum

Doctoral studies are subdivided into a course phase and a dissertation phase. Successful students of the programme will be awarded the degree of a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Finance.

Course phase
The PEF starts with doctoral courses, some of which are taught by internationally distinguished professors. The local faculty and the visiting professors from European and US universities are keen on keeping up high quality standards. During the course phase, you must complete the requirements for your specialisation, and write and present your research proposal.

Dissertation phase
During the dissertation phase you will put intense efforts into your thesis and carrying out the research plan you established in your research proposal. The dissertation phase is devoted to the writing of the thesis and is accompanied by Ph.D. and literature seminars.
