"Accounting is one of the most superb concepts of the human mind. What a system it provides to the tradesman. Every tradesman should establish it to his business!" (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

Accounting, controlling, auditing, finance
The Accounting concentration’s curriculum within the Management Ph.D. programme includes not only theory and research methods in accounting but also deals with theoretical and practical aspects within the areas of controlling, auditing and even corporate finance.

It is the objective of the programme to provide Ph.D. students with relevant knowledge that transcends the participants' previous education. Without focusing simply on theoretical problems, the concentration programme strives to combine practical issues with quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Skills for higher positions
The Accounting concentration is targeted towards all graduates with a focus on accounting, controlling, auditing and corporate finance who intend to acquire special skills for higher positions in business or even qualify for an academic career. At this time, the Accounting concentration is only available as a standard track, taught in English.
