Substantive admission requirements

Substantive admission requirements for the Assessment Year vary depending on the major and the selected language course.

In addition to the formal requirements for studies at the University of St.Gallen, there are substantive admission requirements for a number of majors, meaning that several subjects require specific prior knowledge: 

• Business Administration, Economics, Law: no prior knowledge required 
• Mathematics: secondary school/German Abitur level
• Language courses: various entry levels depending on the language
