Optional courses

In addition to the actual curriculum, the University of St.Gallen offers a range of supplementary optional courses, some of which are designed specifically for the Assessment Year.

Our optional courses for the Assessment Year include: 

• Introduction to mathematics 
• Accounting (Introduction to Accounting) 
• Info tools 
• Conversation courses 
• Coaching programme 
• Special language courses for new non-German speaking students:
  Students from abroad but also students from western Switzerland and Ticino have to get used to using German in the academic context as well as everyday life when they come to the University of St.Gallen. We help our non-German speaking students master this challenge by offering special language courses.
