Curriculum
In the Assessment Year, students are taught the appropriate professional knowledge, are introduced to academic perspectives, and enabled to acquire personal skills that will be required in their further studies.

Contact and Supervised Independent Studies
These are an integral part of the Assessment Year and consist of the three core subjects:
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Law
In addition, students need to choose a further elective, either in Mathematics or another subject in Law.
In the German track, the course can then be completed in either a major in Economics and Business Administration, or Law, whereas in the English pathway, this specialization is only offered for Economics and Business Administration.
Contextual Studies contain the following subjects:
- The area of Leadership Skills includes exercises to "Introduction to Academic Writing", as well as "Integrative Project".
- In Critical Thinking, a wide selection of courses in History, Sociology, Philosophy and Psychology are on offer.
- In the area of Cultural Awareness, students can choose from different foreign language courses offered at different levels.
