Curriculum

The Assessment Year opens up academic perspectives. Students learn the field-specific knowledge appropriate to their level and gain personal skills required for the levels still to come.

Contact and Independent Studies
In the Contact and Independent Studies component you will deal with three core subjects during the Assessment Year: 

• Business Administration 
• Economics
• Law

In addition, you will take the elective subject mathematics or a further course in law.

Contextual Studies
Our sections in Contextual Studies comprise the following at Assessment Year: 

• The area of Leadership Skills entails exercises on “forms and methods of academic work and learning” and “interdisciplinary problem solving” 
• In Critical Thinking you can choose from a wide range of courses in history, sociology, philosophy and psychology 
• In the area of Cultural Awareness you can choose from foreign language courses at various levels
