Rankings

The Law School courses receive first-rate rankings. Since the reform of the study programmes in 2011, the courses have become even more attractive.

In the CHE ranking (2005) by the German Centre for Higher Education Development, the study programmes “Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies (BLS)”, “Bachelor of Arts in Law and Economics (BLE)” and “Master in Legal Studies (MLS)” were awarded the highest scores in most categories and were among the leading courses.

The SwissUp Ranking (2005) likewise evaluated various aspects of the law study programme, in which St.Gallen also leads the field with maximum scores in most categories and was ultimately acknowledged as “Best University in Switzerland, Germany and Austria for Economics and Law".

The legal studies courses at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) always receive first-rate rankings.
