About the School of Finance

The SoF-HSG guarantees the academic education in Finance, Banking, and Insurance, yields stimuli in its research areas, and constitutes a part of the internationally acknowledged University of St.Gallen.

The School of Finance (SoF-HSG) sees itself as a pillar of the basic concept of the University of St.Gallen and, as an independent partner of the other schools, helps to promote the goals, activities and culture of the University of St.Gallen in the pursuit of realising the vision and mission of the HSG.

The SoF-HSG is guided by the core competencies of the University of St.Gallen and is part of the special relationship of the HSG with the practice of banking and finance in education, research and transfer.
