The University of St.Gallen has five schools. These are the "School of Management", the "School of Humanities and Social Sciences", the "Law School", the "School of Finance" and the "School of Economics and Political Science".
Bachelor’s and Master’s Majors
Our five schools are responsible for the teaching and offer a large number of Bachelor’s and Master’s majors and Ph.D. programmes. All of the schools carry out basic research and are responsible for at least one profile area.
Integrative training
Our schools provide an holistic and practical education extending beyond the faculty’s domain. The largest area for integrative teaching is represented by the Economics Department with the "School of Management" (SoM), the "School of Economics and Political Science" (SEPS) and the "School of Finance" (SoF). The "Law School" (LS) is oriented towards Business Law and provides a great deal of practical experience for the Law degree course.
The "School of Humanities and Social Sciences" (SHSS) fulfils a special role. It brings together twelve different humanities and social sciences and gives students a general, supplementary academic education targeted towards specialised training.
